HOW WE ARE ADDRESSING COVID-19
The NI Executive announced on Thursday 17th December the plans for restrictions over a 6-week period commencing on Saturday 26th December until Friday 5th February with a review after 4 weeks. This announcement requires car showrooms to physically close but we are permitted to operate a safe offsite handover facility in a designated location. Service and Parts departments are open and our Sales Team is operating to the procedures laid out below.
AT THE DEALERSHIP
JC Campbell is committed to providing you with a safe and reliable service. We are dedicated to the safety of all our customers and staff during this challenging time. We have implemented the following measures to mitigate the risk of transmission to our customers and employees. Our team members have been trained individually to follow new company guidelines.
From Monday 4th Jan our sales teams will all be available via Phone , Video or Online to assist you with your purchase via JC Campbell Contactless Sales Process:
- Search and reserve a vehicle with holding deposit over the phone or online
- Apply for finance online or complete bank transfer
- Arrange collection at your convenience at our secure handover or discuss home delivery options
- Part exchanges will be given a final appraisal before you leave
Your purchase will be handled remotely with all cars fully paid and any finance completed leaving no paperwork during collection.
Motability orders can still be placed and collected following the same procedures
Both the collection and home delivery services are performed in a COVID secure way and within the guidelines issued by government.
What to expect :
When it’s time for the handover of your new vehicle your sales advisor will confirm a time slot in ensuring no crossover with other customers. As social distancing rules still apply, we ask that where possible you attend for the handover of your car by yourself.
Upon your arrival at the designated location, we ask that you follow the Government guidance of wearing a face covering for the duration of your visit with us.
If you do not have a face covering with you, a disposable face mask will be provided. If your personal circumstances exempt you from wearing a face covering, please let the dealership team know. Throughout your time with us, our colleagues will also wear a face covering whenever they are interacting with you.
Ahead of your visit, your vehicle will have been fully valeted and sanitised ready for handover. The Sales Executive will ensure social distancing measures are maintained throughout the entire handover process.
Again, we have strict protocols around this process to both prepare your car safely, and deliver it safely to you. While we cannot at this time complete a full handover with you to explain all the features on your car, be reassured that we will arrange to do this when restrictions are lifted.
Note - The handover area will be in a separate designated area outside of the main dealership.
SERVICE AND PARTS
Our Service, Parts and Tyre departments will operate as normal to support all maintenance requirements by appointment only, following all safety protocols to help keep our staff and customer safe.

Allocated timed appointments for vehicle drop off and collection. This is to ensure that we can maintain social distancing for both staff and customers
When you arrive at the dealership for your service, our staff will keep their distance. We ask that all customers do the same. There are clearly marked tape lines to ensure a safe distance in met whilst liaising with the team.
There will be regular and enhanced deep cleaning procedures as well as stringent hygiene protocols with all necessary sanitising products.
Your vehicle is safely in our hands. Our technicians use PPE including masks, gloves, steering wheel covers, seat covers and mats. All contact areas will be sanitised before handing you back the keys.

UPDATE ON FACEMASKS
Following the change to Government advice on Monday 10th August, all customers are required to wear a facemask whilst visiting our showroom. Don’t worry if you forget your own, we will be able to provide you with one.
